Gunshots at Deltona park?

    A friend of mine just posted on Facebook that her daughter and granddaughter were at cheerleading practice at a park in Deltona this evening when gunshots broke out. I haven't been able to find anything online. Shirley said her daughter and granddaughter are quite shook up.

    Dewey O Boster Park on Saxon Blvd is the location she says it happened.

    Just a note: I can't find anything about this incident but something must have gone on. If I hear anything more I will pass it on.

    These are inevitable. We need to beef up security around public parks, athletic activities and petty much everywhere.

    Daytona had an issue at the mainland football game a couple weeks back as well. Teenager brandishing a gun. Is what it is these days...

    Sound of freedom, bro. There's no way to prevent this.

    We need to seal off every door in schools, except one, and arm all the teachers. Also need total unregulated open carry everywhere else.

    People won't do these things if they're afraid of someone shooting back. It's been proven by now.

    I still can't find anything on it so I am assuming they just heard some shots and panicked. Shirley said all the girls and their families ran for cover and that her daughter and granddaughter were upset so something happened probably not serious enough to make the news.

    Instead of mailing out free COVID tests the government should have shipped AR-15s and ammo to every US citizen. The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun... well you know how it goes
