Would this have given us a top 10 class if you did the math for 2024 rankings? I know it’s dumb but he doesn’t count even though he’s a 2024 recruit. Counts as a portal get.
Well here's a new twist to recruiting rankings. It seems as if Grimsely counts as a transfer not as a 2024 commit at stated above and on 247. I wonder if this is because they didn't release him from his LOI. Or is it because he enrolled at Bama? Compare to Robinson who is counted in the 2024 class. What is the criteria for entering the portal v. Committing to a different school. Thought it was interesting and of course it muddies the waters when it comes to rankings. Regardless, happy he's joining the good guys. Go Gators!
