Read the stipulated definition of "sexual relations" that was approved for use in his deposition from the perspective of a male recipient of oral sex.

Now if as a lawyer, a lawyer’s dodge works for you, then no problem. Speaking for self, I feel his intent was to deceive because he felt no evidence — such as, say, a semen-stained dress — would ever come to light.

 

I know well the sequence of events, I followed it closely. The statement to the public took place almost immediately AFTER the deposition for which there was considerable back and forth between the lawyers over the definitions of certain words and phrases, including "sexual relations."

The "dodge" stuff is a little snarky and beneath you. Words have precise meanings in the legal system, more so when there are stipulated definitions...then they become especially precise.

"Sexual relations" does NOT have a common meaning among people. All or nearly all would include sexual intercourse in that definition. Less would include oral sex or manual stimulation. The attorneys going after Clinton clearly could have defined "sexual relations" to include oral sex if they wanted to. Perhaps they were conservatives and not familiar with the activity.
