One of the few similarities between Clinton and Trump, the difference being that Democratic voters tended to be somewhat hypocritical since they claim to care about sexual misconduct while Republican voters do not really care whether or not their leader is guilty of sexual harassment and even sexual assault.

I imagine you and I are of a similar mind on this topic: the principle matters more than the politics. I am only pointing out that, like all political hacks, James Carville has been unprincipled and situational in his ethics. We need to treat all forms of misconduct as similarly as possible, even if it’s inconvenient politically. Both sides have scumbags; politics attracts self-serving scumbags. If that means keeping quiet and letting investigations play out, then fine. But as long as you’ve got guys willing to minimize and distract misconduct from their own side while inflating it for the other side, the political divide grows worse. Carville is one of the people who does that.

Carville is a bit of a sensationalist but he does tell it like he sees it. He’s entertaining but hardly an erudite.
The current Dem administration could not be described as possessing average intelligence nor good instincts or forward thinking. They went way too far, with the climate, spending, border issues; had they slowed it down, who knows. Their Achilles heels, of course, are Biden and Harris. It’s hard to rally around such ineffective leaders as them; their communication skills are shockingly horrific. I’m certain the party was aware of Biden’s cognitive issues before he ran; he is perhaps the worst politician I’ve ever seen. I told my wife early on we’ll be lucky if he doesn’t get us all killed.

It was one paragraph so may as well say the entire post is sensationalist, in your opinion.

Carville should be in Bartlett's Familiar Quotations by now with "It's the economy, stupid." It was more than a campaign slogan. It's an eternal truth.
