That's not how good coaches handle it......they guarantee a legit shot at competing for the position, and show the kid how he would fit into the system. A smart kid runs from a coach that promises a position, cause he would probably be making the same promise to everyone
That’s what any good qb does. Anything on top of that is greatness. If he can’t do the simple stuff though, I don’t want him.
I haven’t watch but Farvre threw all those int because he always took too many chances. He tried to throw every receiver open. A interception from behind trying to win the game isn’t an issue( not through the goal posts) but throwing them early and putting yourself behind is different . All interceptions aren’t the same, some risk is ok at times.

He’s just a one year rental on a team that does not expect to be in the playoffs anyway for us. If we’re talking a bunch of money it’s probably better spent on somebody that will be here 2 to 3 years from now and contribute.
Unless you believe Jack Miller is the answer, then you probably only want a 1 year QB. Any longer than that and Rashada/Langway transfer. They are not committing to sit the pine.
I’m so impressed with Rashada, at this point, that I’m pretty sanguine, about 2023, regardless any QB we might get through the portal.
