Hard to believe a kid that set the all-time pass efficiency mark could be labeled erratic

Unlike McCall, he’s got plenty of arm strength. But he threw some up for grabs the game I watched.

I assume it was arm strength questions for McCall and erratic on Hartman

Yes, lack of arm strength is the knock on him.

Absolutely. Any coach that promises that is lying, or isn't going to play the best player and is a terrible coach.

It seems with his lack of interceptions to date maybe he is really cerebral in reading defenses, throwing his receivers open etc

Well the top guys are not coming without them so there are a lot of lying coaches. I’m not so sure AR wasn’t given assurances to stay this current year.

Just joking. I don't think Emory is P5 material.
I have no idea which portal QB is the best fit OR more importantly, if we can even land him.

I miss the wheel route to the running backs... and the ever illusive slant pass.

We don’t need a guy who can throw a ball 70 yards and we don’t need to have someone who runs like AR.

Just run the offense, make the reads, throw an accurate pass if someone is open and if nothing there throw an accurate pass to the check down, move the chains. Oversimplification but it really could have been that easy this season

Too funny, AR had too much damn arm strength and couldn't find his mark. I'll take a quarterback who is accurate any day over arm strength. The knock on Bart Starr was that his hands were too small to play quarterback. Literally, his hands could not grip the football to make throws. He didn't possess a strong arm or have flashy stats, but he still owns the NFL record in the 21st century for pass efficiency.
