How do you feel about gerrymandering along racial lines?

How do you feel about trying to stop the peaceful transition of power?

Keeping in mind that it was the only poll showing him ahead and that the margin was one percent with an MOE of 2.5 percent.

I want to see all of the members of congress' tax returns... especially Pelosi's and Schumer's.

    Apparently not.

Roberts delays handover of Trump tax returns to House panel

WASHINGTON (AP) — Chief Justice John Roberts on Tuesday put a temporary hold on the handover of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns to a congressional committee.

Roberts’ order gives the Supreme Court time to weigh the legal issues in Trump’s emergency appeal to the high court, filed Monday.

Without court intervention, the tax returns could have been provided as early as Thursday by the Treasury Department to the Democratic-controlled House Ways and Means Committee.

Roberts gave the committee until Nov. 10 to respond. The chief justice handles emergency appeals from the nation’s capital, where the fight over Trump’s taxes has been going on since 2019.

Yep, I read that too. I also expect the "new" House to drop that request.

This move is ingenious on Roberts part as it delays things until the new Congress takes over.

So this is your ideal democracy? Two independent branches of government in cahoots to protect trump?

I serious doubt Roberts gives a rat's ass about coordinating with the minority party to protect trump.

Hope you're right. I would like for us to get a firm result either way as opposed to them letting the clock be run out.

Trump’s lawyers will find more ways to delay it and then Congress will let it go. The American people will be heard next Tuesday.

should congress let it go? should politics decide if insurrections are okay or not or should the law be followed?

They did. They voted in Joe Biden who appointed a legitimate Attorney General who is investigating the insurrection and all those with culpability will face a judge.
