    With Lake Mary playing for the championship he should have been in Williamsport cheering them on not in Dublin rooting for FreeShoes U

    Desantis would go on to have a good career at Yale with a career batting average over .300 and was named captain his SR season.

    Also, Brady Williams who played on the same Dunedin LL team is currently the 3B coach for the Rays and another teammate Peter Nystrom was a starting OF at UF under Andy Lopez.

    Yeah, this one seems like a missed layup to me.

    He’s the Governor who wrote chapters in his book about how his own experience playing in the LLWS shaped his character. And he missed the opportunity to see the first Florida team win it to go watch an FSU team that he has no personal connection to lose in Ireland instead.
