Waste isn't enough. Rates for procedures need to be cut. Our healthcare system is inflated because of Medicare.

ok that’s about $100-$200 million. Only $999,800,000,000 to go.

    who would NOT support this?

Only a MAGA-hat would encourage radical islamists to breed. I say we spend $15 billion vs 15 million.

Whatever you want to decide is "waste" or "need" should be decided democratically, and especially not by a billionaire who isnt part of the government. There is objectively speaking no such thing as government "waste" ... its a completely subjective determination, and should be subject to the democratic process. Anyone who wants the "government to run like a business" is basically saying, Elon is right, we need an authoritarian CEO to decide these things.

Some of that list screams bs.

I don’t buy that we are sending “hundreds of millions” to Afghanistan. I’m sure we were while we were occupying the country. That seems like a “cut” that just fell off after the Afghanistan govt collapsed on our withdrawal. We barely have relations now.

“$9 million to Al-Queda”. “Meals to Al-Queda fighters”. These are the Kurdish fighters we were “partnering” against ISIS, right? Strange bedfellows for sure. But again this seems an intentionally misleading to just ignore that.

Yeah, I mean the guys fighting Assad in Syria, many of them were connected to Al-Queda at some point, including the uh, head of state.

It became crickets to Republicans when it was revealed that Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump were using private email accounts to conduct official government business or when it was discovered that Trump stashed classified documents in a bathroom at Mar-a-Lago.

Cut, slash and burn … the military.

Shut down every base overseas and disgorge our boys and girls into the private sector.

Fears of invasion are hysterical. We’re surrounded by great oceans and benign neighbors.

No ten countries combined could come over here and subjugate us.
