    Tax cuts for all.

If I pay more taxes I get a bigger cut.

And please don’t act like Wall street didn’t line up and give to Obama he got more from those rich guy that either of his opponents both times he ran.

Gotta love a convention so boring that it put Old Man Donald to sleep.

I'm all for tax cuts for everyone as soon as they reign in spending. Until then the GOP wanting tax cuts is nonsense

The difference is that and I know it's surprising a significant number of wealthy contributors to the Democratic party are actually motivated by principles and support candidates who have taken positions that are actually against their personal self-interest. Not so with the ultra rich contributors to Republican candidates.

Has Tim Scott cut off the payments to his beard yet and canceled the fake wedding?

Speaking of spouses, how much does Melanie despise her husband? No pictures of them together after the shooting and she doesn't go with him to Milwaukee. Just like she didn't go to his NY trial.

And don't give me that BS about her focusing on being a Mom. Her son is 18 for Pete's sake.

Im trying to figure out if this is big tent or they let the wolf in the hen house. He gave a very pro-union speech in a house that is generally very anti-union. It's not like the GOP is going to become pro-union so it was a pretty bizarre spectacle as he teed of on big business. Im truly not sure why he was invited or what he hoped to accomplish .

It is being reported that Nikki Haley will be at the RNC tonight. It was previously reported she would not be in attendance.

Its neither really. Cant really figure out if this guy is a useful idiot (I mean Musk and other big donors are actively trying to kill the NLRB) or just sort of reading the tea leaves and making nice or just taking the chance to speak. There is kind of a conservative strain in labor, that sees "DEI" as HR nonsense so that does appeal to some trade unionists. To me its stupid if you are madder about that than any GOP administration stocking the NLRB with anti-union guys and generally being hostile to labor across the board.

There's also the chance this guy wants to be the bizarro Shawn Fain

Just a guess, but the GOP's trying to appeal to blue collar whites that are part of labor unions in Michigan and Pennsylvania. I'm not sure what Teamsters gets from it, though.

Thats what I don't get. Far as I can tell he pissed off a lot of union members, and for what? Seemed like he did a big favor to the GOP

Maybe as head of the Teamsters, he's like "hmm, bringing back patronage and blatant corruption, it'll be like the old days again, and it all worked out for Hoffa in the end"
