Takes the podium with Black Sabbath’s Iron Man or Maiden’s The Trooper blaring over the speakers.

The Trumper’s heads will explode with excitement

The GOP is "the Big Tent Party".

That's why Trump threw in with the GOP instead of going indy or dem.

Working class, middle class, professionals (doctors, engineers, bean counters), business owners, farmers, ranchers, stock brokers, their clients, gun owners and gun rights proponents, evangelicals, Catholics (conservative--not the unorthodox hippy types), pro-lifers, most military, Christians of all stripes, middle management, execs, libertarians, self identified flag waving patriots, family values folk...among others, tend to fall under the GOP big tent.

We seem to have lost the neo-cons to the dems, who, in addition to the NC's, also count celebs, journalists, media/fame whores, MSM, pop/rock, movie and TV stars, and the ountless minions who absorb their politics, academia (pretty broadly), lawyers, unionized labor (in bloc) career politcians, career criminals, drug dealers, illegal immigrants, homeless, Uber rich elites, libertines, sexual deviants (er, the alphabet soup folk).... tend gravitate to dems.

You'll note the GOP has more independent minded folk. A bigger tent.

Dems tend to attract folks who are truer to the orthodoxy. Ironically, since they're supposedly the 'liberal' party--which by definition, resists orthodoxy.

    Jmho/fwiw.

So....survived a broken home, worked his way out of poverty, served his country as a Marine, graduated suma in two majors, earned a Yale law degree, became a NYT best selling author and a US Senator isn't going to impress any undecided voters?

Well, I would think someone with those credentials should impress anyone.

JD Vance was the best zzVP choice. Ben Carson would have been fine. Tulsi, Rand Paul are cool. JD is a life insurance policy for Trump. The Deep State and others don't gain anything by killing Yrump--- they,'f have to kill them both.S days before the debate JD Vance was paying almost 6:1,. Vance and Ben Carson (16:1) erte Robert Barnes,' picks.

So independent that they ran out of office those Republicans who didn’t heart and soul approve of trump. Yep, don’t get more independent than that.
And for giggles sometimes take a look at the Republican congressional members and gander at all that white male independence. Yep, you nailed it* all right.

    * your johnson to the floor.

Robert Barnes wanted Trump to pick JD zvance for VP and he did

Barnes wants Trump to adopt some of RFK Jr's populist left.positions. Nu uniting the populist left and right Trump wins (without massive fraud). Among people who voted in 2020 the election is pretty even
Biden has to win the popular vote by 3-4% to win. Among new0voters Trump 50% RFK Jr 25% Biden 20%. Trump met with RFK Jr before the convention

Compromisers chased away for fighters. Besides, "Big Tent" is more about the constituents and platforms, than candidates.

What attracts thr broad spectrum is that the GOP Tent acts as an umbrella to protect from the piss the dem government rains on them.

Soft rinos talk big... but let their constituents get soaked in donkey piss.

    No thanky very much.
