I don't normally take delight in people being humiliated but I gotta be honest, this is some next level enjoyment

that’s ok. Jim Jordan isn’t a person - he’s one of those dolls where you pull the string and he plays back one of a few prerecorded phrases.

    Then let me help you...

Candidates who have already said they will seek the job:

Reps. Austin Scott (R-Ga.) Did not vote to overthrow the Govt, did just blame the Dems for the House chaos in a video up thread I posted. Moron. He is McCarthy 2.0. Could do worse but could do better.
Kevin Hern (R-Okla.) Voted to throw out legal American votes. Traitor
Jack Bergman (R-Mich.). Voted to throw out legal American votes. Traitor
Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) Voted to throw out legal American votes. Traitor

Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) Did not vote to overthrow the govt, Institutional party leader, Supports Ukraine, negotiated on debt ceiling. However, he is a right wing nut who has moderated his public comments but underneath he is the same guy who proposed chemical castration of sex crime criminals, questions evolution, horrible on womens rights, has 2 DUIs and according to the New Republic proposed a state bill that required the governor and 2/3rds state house approval before accepting federal laws he doesnt like. Could do worse but could do much better.

    Considering:
Jodey Arrington (R-Texas) Voted to throw out legal American votes. Traitor
Roger Williams (R-Texas) Voted to throw out legal American votes. Traitor

Looks like the far right will probably rally around Donalds. Emmer is kind of like Scalise in that he has a lot of institutional support and is the only current member of leadership in the race. Scott was basically just not Jordan and now thinks that there are people who want him. Hern might have the best shot in that I could see him being a lot of people's second choice and I don't see how the Donalds or Emmer people ever agree on the other one.

Why does OP always make these election related posts and then disappear when things don't go their way?

There are so many of these videos now of republicans trying to blame democrats for their mess ... If I were one of these reporters, I'd ask them one simple question, "How many times have you voted for a democrat speaker?"

So he can get a free vacation. Never mind the contract workers that will lose income. Screw the people that clean the offices and work in food service. Screw the other contractors that have to make contingency plans for their workforce.

    Really selfish.

In their head a govt shutdown is somehow the equivalent of "small government" and "less spending"

As he stated @vaxcardinal wants the shutdown because he would get a free vacation. @92gator gave his post a rating of winner because he's a small government conservative apparently not realizing a shutdown would be nothing more than a political stunt that in the end own will not shrink the size of the federal government and will end up costing taxpayers more than if there was no shutdown in the first place.

Free vacations are for bloated govt employees that aren't essential. I've got 4 friends that still have to work without pay because they do real govt jobs. Prolly need to just cut all the "free vacation" folks at this point and actually shrink the govt. Do it GaetZ
