    Right
So a rare occurrence in a country of 330 million people and about as many guns is used as the stereotype? When in fact I believe far far more people are actually saved by guns than are harmed by these ridiculous wanna be Rambos.
Some act like every CCW permit holder is a ticking time bomb, every AR15 owner is a hidden mass murderer when in truth it’s a statistical rarity.

    LOL.

That's why over 40,000 people die in the US annually from guns. Because guns save so many people. :)

60 percent of those deaths are suicides
    1 percent are mass shootings
3 percent are law enforcement shootings
2 percent are accidental fire arm deaths
34 percent are homocides -16-20 percent of which are believed to be gang related murders.
A large scale online survey in 2021 had 54000 people answer questions regarding guns. 17000 were gun owners. Over 30 percent had used the threat of a firearm or the firearm itself in to protect property and loved ones.
It’s estimated that 100 million plus Americans own guns. If only 10 percent use the gun or the threat of a gun to protect themselves…that’s 10 million

Go find a picture of when he was 17 not the one the press used when he was 13.

The courts often treat 16 and 17 year olds as adults, you have an issue with that?

A pack of 16/17 “children” brutally kill a homeless person you still call them kids?

What does any of this deflection babble have to do with the fact that a certain contingent made Trayvon Martin out to be a grown ass adult male when he was far from it?

So, now we go off of how old a kid looks rather than their actual age? I hope you realize the implications of what you are saying.

No dude you’re acting like he was some little 13 year old.
That wasn’t the case. But whatever.
Don’t try to twist what I’m saying into so general statement based on “looks”, I see where you’re trying to go.

Tell me you equate a 6 ft 220# 16 year old linebacker with a 16 year old 5’5” 140# book work when it comes to a physical altercation.
Age can come into it but in a case of self defense physical build has a huge part to play. That’s why saying oh he’s just some “child” is simplistic.

Not talking about the case of this thread.

I do because of the surveys and stats provided by places like Brady website. Why do believe it’s otherwise?

If Trayvon was so physically intimidating, why would Zimmerman follow him around in the dark? Your argument makes little sense.

Please point me to the statistics that show far more people are saved by guns than killed by them.

More are probably killed by suicide using the gun or thru accidental discharge then are saved or intentionally killed by guns.

    Upthread.
PLease provide proof that they don’t. Especially difficult since FBI and local police do not differentiate between defensive gun use and homicides. The only real evidence is from surveys and studies…
