Just returned from the game, why did CTG get the Technical? We sat behind the Gators bench and him giving the ref an earful and I expected him to get a T, but what was he upset about?
Yeah Golden thought he got it for hanging on the rim, but on the way down from that dunk he slapped the back board. It was the right call, just don’t think Todd saw that part.
I know. But he seemed to be arguing the technical with the officials. I’d rather him address the team, as we have had a few technicals related to dunks… and probably a few more close calls. I’d hate for us to get rung up in a close game. Juat dunk it and move on. I mean, that’s what I do. . as least the “move on” part.

fwiw- I’ve been told by an opposing coach (no, not mike white) that Golden is constantly working the refs. . . maybe too much. Lol. If true, I’m sure he gets a deaf ear from time to time.
I was at the game and I sit close to the Gator second half basket. I saw the slap in real time and had to tell my son and other people around me why it was a correct call.
