    Typing as I listen….

This was a huge game for us. We knew how hard of a week if would be … on road with two good teams. We had a tough loss the other night, but I am happy with our response… w our approach, response and prep. We are a pretty good team when he hit shots..and tonite we got ten 3s.

We hit a lot of shots early and took them out of rhythm offensively. They are not a strong shooting team - so we got a way from them a little. They are really well coached and physical and fought back on their home court.

Mississippi State played fearless in second half to get back in and we got tentative.. part of that is human nature to protect a lead. We wanted to be aggressive against press. We found just enough to win.

They do a good job pressuring. Colin … with size and field we felt could help us get the ball in. We almost had a home run play to Kugel. We took care of ball and utilized timeouts well. It’s a huge win for us especially not having scored the final couple minutes.

CC has to stop taking so many of those outside shots. Thought it was his worst shot selection game of the season. 5-14 from the field. He has to get back to playing his game and long 2's or 3's and deep fade aways isn't his game. Lofton was really solid playing 35 minutes, 6 assists, 8 rebounds and O TO's. Good to see Reeves hit a few shots. Hope this gets him going, but he needs to play in control. After Fudge got hurt, Jitobah had to play extended minutes. Would have been nice to have Felder available but i guess that ship has sailed.

Season saving win for sure, but need to figure out a way to play a complete game if they're going to beat better teams. Something to build off of and glad they won.

I believe he has a bright future as a big guy with shooting touch. But the few minutes he's gotten this season, he's just not yet ready for prime time. Next season he'll be in the rotation.

If Fudge can’t go, we will need his size. He needs time to adjust, but his shooting is very good for a big man. I am sure his practicing with the guys has helped so far, it time to get his feet wet. Just think, God forbid, CC gets hurt. Start giving him a few minutes here and there so the stage fright is over. You can’t teach him the speed of the game, only playing in games is going to give him that.

Loften has really settled down and is playing point guard well. Now, if Reeves can stop jumping like a jack-in- the- box on D.....

He said Fudge seemed fine. Was celebrating in the locker room.

Check out the postgame interview video here.
Love it when he was asked about the late timeout. He said he told the referee before the play, "stay with me, I'm calling timeout if we get in trouble getting across the timeline." The play started and the ref was drifting away and we were indeed in trouble. CTG said, "I just sprayed it" at him.
A really vocal, really engaged coach. We've been missing that.

When your minutes are in line with Aberdeen, Lane, and Klatsky, you are not a consideration. Kind of a shame. We are all-in with CC or we shoot craps.

Sorry off topic, but is there any word on Felder? Are we to assume that he's done?

He's appearing on Hoopster Kitchen Hell with Chef Gordon Ramsey. Too good an opportunity to pass up.
