Funding scam? Probably. They have money to buy new ones.

Bama is looking to start a go-fund me for the ref's since they are claiming UT "out-bid" them for the "edge" Saturday.

Um Tennessee, that is like the Jacksonville Jaguars asking for the rest of the NFL members to allow them a "redneck" discount for free agent signings.

You either are an elite program or you are FSU.

I hate UT as much as the next guy. Those here long enough know that about me.

But this is a smart move. Every price point represents something. (The score, the attendance etc). Its a chance to be part of it historically

We'd love this if we tore down the goalposts in the superdome and the school reimbursed them in increments of $52.20.

I hate them, but this jas been a great marketing move by them.

I told my MIL a huge bama fan during the game Nick needs to make sure the funds arrive at the league office by Wednesday of game week to ensure the calls go his way.

it’s been reported he has ignored repeated notification that the check arriving on game day is unacceptable, last Saturday was notice the officials weren’t kidding about the assessed penalties for late payment.

It’s strictly a fundraising thing. They’ve also sent out fundraising stuff after bball wins against KY for instance or even after the UF win this year. Helps fund stadium upgrades etc. It’s not to actually pay for goalposts or the fine.

I think you can donate $16 because it was 16 years, $52.49 for the score or $1019.15 for stadium attendance among others. Clever

I understood they ordered new goal posts a week or more before the game.
