GOP " platform" such as it is: tax breaks for the rich, build a yuge wall on the southern border, say elections that they lose were rigged, culture wars, and worship the orange god. That about covers it.

 

I listened to a npr interview with him a few years back. In general he is extremely effective making points concisely and convincingly and intertwines historical references. intelligent, yes, but to use platitudinous description, he is an exceptional communicator.

 

pffft. Newt has a long history of infidelity. Married 3 times and cheating on first two wives with congressional volunteers decades younger. His first wife had to sue for child support. And his background is more salacious and disheartening than that brief description.

Newt is considered by many as the father of congressional partisan divisiveness. he is in the mold of trump and walker and how they dog and abuse women and encourage divisiveness and hate. And maga follows them but for some reason newt couldn’t get traction. Maybe he should have made his message more simple??
I think very little of newt to put it mildly.

 

This is why I voted to hire him. The rest is just a very tall pile of cherries on top.
