Getting worse too. Getting dozens daily of messages saying I'm getting money, etc. Email spam too. How do I stop this?
It started to happen to me too. From maybe no calls to maybe 2 or 3 daily a few days ago to now 3 to 5 an hour. Full range from life insurance to medicare supplement. A few years back I was working on an app that would end this forever by automatically putting every number not in the Contact list on a black list. I never finished it because things got better after that, but I'm thinking of looking at it again since there's nothing out there like it. About 2 weeks ago I got a text from what was the CEO of a company I worked for a few years ago. He sounded authentic but warning sirens went off when he wanted me to go buy gift cards to hand out to the team since he was in a meeting. The thing is, I haven't worked for them since March 2022. So I played along with him for a few minutes so I can could trace his call to California and then I let him know I worked for the FBI Cyberwarfare Division and that I had traced his call to California and have notified the LA office of his number and that he might want to get rid of that burner before he gets raided. Never heard from him again.
