Skipped a generation. Fortunately I am just smart enough to recognize opportunity and stupid enough to do something about it.

I don’t. Don’t wish injury or anything, but I do wish he gets buried on the depth chart or splits carries with some other 5 stars and gets outshined.

"Culture - This is Why We Win. This is why we win. 0 opt outs. The largest margin of victory in bowl game history. In an era where quitting is condoned, you couldn’t ask for a better way to end it all. The Back 2 Back National Champions had nothing to prove in regards to skill, but today was a testament to brotherhood, community, and connectivity. They didn’t do it for themselves, they did it for each other & they did it for you. Because as nice as a 3-peat would have been, there is nothing greater than knowing that you come from a culture that would never leave you behind, for better or for worse. So whether the dawgs are 1 and 13 or 14 and 0 - you know that your people will stand by you. This is not an NFL stepping stone, this is kinship."

They didn't have "opt outs" but they had a ton of kids enter the portal-same thing.

    This is leghumper propaganda.

UGA had multiple opt outs in the 2020 season bowl game and then won the national championship the next two seasons.

I meant that the OP was selecting a certain data point to illustrate their message. Doing so, however, leaves out another relevant data point.

Your reply really made me feel old. I was 12 year old when Ga Tech left the SEC. I never thought about them being in the SEC until I ready your post. I know that you did not intend to hurt this old fart. Lets just call it collateral damage.

    I agree with you.

To put things into a better perspective, this past season the 5 and 7 record had four games that were real tight up to near the end of the 4th quarter. If the Gators had just a marginal improvement in the basics and a few other items go their way, they could of finished no worse than 6 - 6 and as good as 9 and 3.

Hopefully next season, Napier, his staff, and the team will more than a marginal improvement in the basics and have more things go their way.

  14. I am not saying that I agree with the following sentiment, but I have seen variations of this all over the forums and social media.
