    Rest In Peace.

Maybe now the league will recognize the 1984 team as SEC champions.

I agree 1000% he hated Florida and he didn’t hide it. He voted very publicly to prevent Florida from being SEC champions when his sorry trash self was doing the same thing and hid it because of his standing in the SEC.
I got no use for him

Some of you younger Florida fans should study the history of your team and then you would understand the pure hatred us older fans have of ugag. There’s never been nor will there ever be a day I pull for ugag to win a game. I’d pull for any team in conference or out of conference to beat those pukes. I’d pull for fsu to beat ugag if they played each other.

Only the old timers on this board can remember what a blood bath (go old fashion rocken soxem football)the Florida Auburn game was back before SOS became the Head Ball Coach. The main thing that fueled that Blood Bath was that Auburn was loading up on a lot of Florida high school talent. Back then many of the engineers working Titusville\Melborne\Orlando area were Auburn grads. Many of those grads had sons playing high school football. Thus, the Auburn recruiters had a built in pipeline of good talent. When the Florida Auburn game rolled in, many of those former Florida boys were more then ready and eager to play the Gators hard. The Florida team was also very up to play Auburn too. This game usually left the Gatos too beat up and or flat to go after Dooley and his Dawgs. RIP Mr Dooley.

  9. Selective enforcement was at its height in the 80s when it was the wild west (SMU 30 for 30 showed great examples) and everyone was going all out in "various ways". Some programs got punished and that directly led to more losses while others got a slap on the wrist which kept their program whole. The people that championed that selective enforcement should receive scorn from every UF fan out there.

Wow, tough crowd! Didn’t he suffer enough when his son Derek wore those orange and white checkerboard pants while “coaching” the Vols?

This post may be a day late and a Dollar short but no Gator fan over 50 will ever have any love lost for Vince Dooley. As stated in a prior post not only did he advocate that Florida 's 1984 SEC championship be taken away, in fact he was the leader of that charge. He never missed the opportunity to pile it on against the Gators during the 60's and 70's and brought in players who weren't even enrolled in the UGA program.(Jan Kemp anyone?) No this Gator fan has no empathy for him. That is one reason , among others, that I love the old ball coach, he hates Ga as much as anyone.
