You have to tip your hat to Billy and the staff for their ability to identify underrated talent. This RB room is probably the best that I have seen since Anderson, Hampton, and Williams ran through SEC defenses in the early 80’s. (Google it)!
Billy has the problem of keeping everyone engaged and happy, which is a great problem to have.

Letting Pyburn and Searcy go is a calculated risk too. Theres a finite amount smount of money in the kitty to build the roster. Tough decisions have to be made. Both would have contributed but at what expense to our roster. Obviously Napier had other priorities.

Maybe they were outbid by UGA, or maybe the money was equal and he just wanted to start, he clearly wasn't going to start here with Johnson returning. There are several here that seem to think the staff was indifferent about him leaving, and I just don't think that was the case. I don't remember him having a Pyburn list of demands, but maybe he did? Either way it wouldn't have stung like it did, had he gone anywhere else.
