I hope so! Serves him and big mouth mama right! Your post got me to thinking about all the great RBs we've had, and other teams have had, and then comparing them one on one with little ETN. What does he offer? Maybe he could be a special teams punt returner but his attitude sure has cost him, IMO.

Likely too small in size to stay healthy in the NFL. Can’t block on passing downs. He also lost any ability to be an alumnus of UF or return to Gville in 20 years with any fanfare. Dead to us.

But he can hump legs and lick his own balls so at least he has that as a claim to fame.

He could've help chipped the rushing DE on the late 2nd qtr fumble sack. Would have changed the game.

Yeah, I agree with this. I would add a couple of things. First, if he thinks he can just run the ball in the NFL and not know how to block blitzing players he will not last at all. The other is, UGa was not very UGa-like in their running game this year. Frazier wasn't prepared to be The Man and no one else besides ETN was there. They got caught short-handed.

Not that there is anything wrong with that...

    alumnus /ə-lŭm′nəs/
    noun
    1. A male graduate or former student of a school, college, or university.
I am a male graduate alumnus of the University of Florida. Trevor Etienne is not. EDIT: My poor comprehension caused me to post this asserting that since Trevor was a 'male graduate' he was excluded from being an alumnus but that was my confirmation bias showing since I failed to consider the words after the word 'or'. While I reject the words following 'or', I nonetheless concede that Webster sees it differently.

Just like his bro in the NFL, lil’ ETN fumbles at the most critical time

From a rival perspective, I loved UGA getting worked by the traditionally overrated ND. I chuckled when punk-a ETN fumbled in the Red Zone

There were a couple of contrarians that mocked gator fans for knocking Etiennes blocking ability when he transferred to Georgia. I'll admit there was some rationalizing by Gator fans because it looked like Napier was losing some of his best recruits but his lack of blocking hurt Georgia and maybe just maybe juluke and company knew what they were doing not leaning solely in him as a runningback and potential blocker....

Baugh is definitely the more complete back, so if it was an either-or, I’d take that trade on any day that ends in Y.

He was definitely our most explosive player in ‘23, so it was perfectly rational to not be optimistic when your most talented back leaves (even if he is a headcase).

Obviously Baugh turned out to be even better, perhaps our best overall back in decades if the OL can stay healthy in front of him.

I was bothered because he was a Napier recruit and he was explosive however the blocking issues were always valid, people overlooked them though because he made shiny plays. All I'm saying is that the knock on his blocking especially with our line issues were not unwarranted and sidelining Johnson for that dude was not going to happen. Johnson was always the more complete back despite many fans here even still withholding the credit Johnson is due.
