That sounds right about ol' happy feet and he ended up in Indy. I thought Ryan Leaf was complaining about not getting drafted to Seattle or Denver.

Well, it has finally begun. Willocks family is suing the University Board of Regents for 2 million, the maximum allowed by the State of Georgia. Suits against the driver's estate and UGA athletic department are warming up in the bullpen.

I wonder if UGA will try and pay the Lecroy family to just shut-up so they can stick to the story of putting the blame solely on their now deceased daughter, that she was acting on her own and misused the vehicle that crashed.

There’s more than enough blame to be spread around. Everyone is not a victim.

It's about time. I'd like to know what the leghumpers did to keep the lid on this for so long.

This is not going to end well for the mutts.

It is most likely that negotiations for a payoff started soon after that horrible car wreck. My guess is that UGA was not going to pay up or William's family was asking for too much.

Maybe they can bring Willie Meggs out of retirement to help them out. If this were us and GPD was covering up the mess Id be furious...heads need to roll but they wont because just like FSU money and championships mean more to these type of schools than anything else.

UGA has salivated over this level of football success for 40 years. Their last stated annual recruiting budget was $4.5M. They'll easily pay this extra $2M to keep the good times rolling.

Oh look at this now that Jalen Carter left UGA and the coaches don't need him anymore, they start burying him about what a bum he is now that he isn't helping them win any more national championships.

Jalen Carter overcame not-great feedback from Georgia coaches to stay in top 10 - ProFootballTalk

Yet UGA had their “fixer” jump right in and quickly make certain that he only received a pathetic slap on the wrist so his draft status would not be overtly affected. Meanwhile two people are still dead. The whole thing smells like dawg feces!

Why can’t we hear what was said especially now that he’s been drafted? A good situation for him with some teammates that may keep him inline for awhile.

I'm pretty irritated at how little media play this situation has gotten given how florida has been dragged publicly so often in the past.

It just struck me how egregious it is to act so reckless like Carter and Mitchell and then for the NFL, media and universities to downplay it given how recent the Ruggs incident is.

It feels dirty cheering for Carter and facilitating this behavior while Tina Tintor and her dog are already forgotten....
