  2. Just expand the playoffs to 50 teams so we can get in! Sigh.

Does it get any better than clown tears?

More from FSU athletic director Michael Alford
"For many of us, today's decision by the committee has forever damaged the credibility of the institution that is the College Football Playoff," Alford said. "And, saddest of all, it was self-inflicted. They chose predictive competitiveness over proven performance; subjectivity over fact. They have become a committee of prognosticators. They have abandoned their responsibility by discarding their purpose – to evaluate performance on the field."

Yes, Mr AD. It WAS self inflicted. You played a crappy schedule. You can’t get by on smoke and mirrors in the Almost Competitive Conference. Ha, friggin,ha.

FSU only got by Clemson because they suffered from early season fumbleitis. Seriously all but the NC State loss for them was entirely self inflicted. The Tigers will be on the revenge tour next year and FSU with Rodemaker doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell.

I was thinking of making a new thread on it but here goes.
    • Flagship university in a huge (2nd and third largest) state with a football culture
    • Top states for recruits. Both states of Texas and Florida threaten the #1 pool of recruits every year.
    • Academic focus which limits the players that can qualify
    • Top tier engineering and medical programs
    • Massive financial resources from the Alumni pool. Best in each state.
    • Academic crowd is "all in" on football in these schools. (as opposed to a lot of schools where the nerds shun football) I know so many elite lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc and they are all football junkies.
    • Ben Hill Griffin and Darrel K Royal. Home field full metal experience.
    • Hungry in-state rivals with strong bases but less history and depth of said bases. (A&M, FSU, Miami)
    • All kinds of nerdy traditions that we/they make look cool anyways. Hey, the boys are the squarest.

Oh dont worry you will...tune in to the Orange Bowl and youll see it. If theyre so deserving tell me why Vegas would has the #6 team as a 12 point favorite over that deserving team.

I haven't been watching TV but I wonder if this is being discussed on ESPN. This is a massive blow to the ACC.

After this season, this was the best bday gift I could have asked for. The worst was the '01 UT game that was played on my bday. I then had to take a happy bday call from my great aunt who was a UT fan laughing through her voice box in a robotic fashion.
