George Stephanopolous interview of Biden 8pm 7/5/24

Tomorrow at 6:30 eastern Biden is gonna tie his shoes without any assistance live on TV!!!

 

Going to need a little more on that. Other than the obvious (Democrats, white women, First Ladies), I don’t see a lot of comparisons between the two women in terms of personality, background, ambition, and such.

 

Said it in the thread on whether Joe Biden will still be on the ballot. The Bidens (Joe and Jill) are clearly in a state of denial. Hopefully someone will be able to return them to reality. Biden refuses to accept the reality that he has been dropping in the polls especially in the swing states since the debate and that an incumbent president with his low approval rating has never been reelected. The Bidens have to be persuaded that if Joe Biden should lose his legacy will not be his accomplishments during his term in office but rather his decision that resulted in the election of the candidate who could end 248-year run of the United States as a Constitutional Republic.

 

Like the debate, I couldn't take more than 5min of the interview. Get 'im outta there. BTW - I feel the Jill stuff is derp. Folks also said Hunter was all up on him to run again.

 

"I'm running the world." That's not denial, I don't know what it is.

 

I think Edith Wilson, First Lady of President Woodrow Wilson, is a better comparison to Jill Biden. When Wilson had a debilitating stroke in office, she conspired with Wilson’s inner circle to limit access and keep the President’s condition a secret from the American people.

It’s Joe and his entire legacy on the line.

If he drops out and Trump destroys the world, so be it. That was the entire point of Biden: buy time.

If he stays in and Trump destroys the world, that is the Story of Biden.

 

Some truth in that. What’s also true is, however bad President Biden’s condition is, it isn’t as bad as Wilson’s was. One of the reasons for the 25th Amendment was the revelation of what had occurred in the White Home some 50 years earlier.

I don’t argue with any of that. It just wasn’t what my point was.

 

Just like when you tell the olds they can’t drive anymore. Some acknowledge the merits of the situation and accept it, while others are in angry denial.
Still haven’t forgiven… oh I digress….. …
