Since they are not reporting the charges, I cannot add my own comments per board rules. However, I will add....About Damn Time!!

I put a question mark in the title because I scanned FoxNews entire site and could not find this story about a sitting House Rep being charged by the feds.

He should resign, but likely won’t.

“Under the House Vacancy Clause in the U.S. Constitution, states have "Executive Authority" to hold a special election if a seat in the House becomes vacant. Each state can determine its own timing and circumstances of the election. In the state of New York, Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul would have 10 days to call a special election to replace Santos, which would have to be held between 70 to 80 days from the date of that proclamation -- if Santos resigns this year, during the first session of a Congress.

If Santos resigns during the second session of Congress, the amount of time between the vacancy and the next general election would play a role. Unlike the Seventeenth Amendment, which allows states to temporarily fill a vacant Senate seat before a special election is held, the House Vacancy Clause does not give states the same power in the House.”

McCarthy's debt ceiling vote goes South? Nevermind.... he doesn't have the integrity to remove Santos from voting.

Yep, they will keep him there until he is imprisoned or there is another election (I actually suspect that he won't be reelected). He can't afford to lose a vote. He is barely holding it together with Santos' vote.

There's a story on the Fox site now, but there's about 40 stories above it. Including a couple of stories about Hunter Biden.

My understanding is that Santos sold a couple of his Olympics gold medals and one of his World Series Championship rings and didn’t report the income on his tax return.

Do the Democrats have anyone holding office that’s comparable to convicted sex offender Trump, and scam artist/drag queen Santos?

It's actually 63 stories down the "trending" tab. Top 10 stories were almost all murder stories.

Why does fox need to cover something the liberals will cover 100 times over?
They know you guys will over cover it.

Because the only other sites Fox "News" viewers visit are Daily Stormer and Info Wars so they won't see it.

That's true, a transgender person probably bounced a check somewhere and it might slip through the cracks if they covered Santos

And they also know that by minimizing coverage of it their own viewers of MAGA nation will remain largely ignorant of the story.
