Gay sex in the Senate

Twink? Hard to keep track of all these made up terms

 

Contempt for this nation, contempt for its institutions, contempt for its people, contempt for himself.

 

The Senate has been screwing us for decades. At least here they are screwing themselves (or at least their staffs).

 

In situations like this, the first thing I ask myself is how I would feel if the situation was reversed in a couple of ways. If it’s the same, then I’ll give an opinion. If it’s different, then I have identified a bias and I’ll keep quiet.

If a Republican staffer was engaging in heterosexual conduct exactly like this, then I would say it’s not cute, it’s not funny, it’s not boys being boys. The staffer should be summarily fired by the Senator they work for. Anything less would show incredibly poor judgment by a Senator.

 

Someone does something somewhere. He’ll be fired for being a total idiot. There will be no democratic uproar.

They weren't sent to jail "just for being in the Capitol building". They were sent to jail for vandalism, attempting to prevent a Congressional vote and assaulting law enforcement officers. If given the opportunity they almost certainly would have assaulted members of Congress and maybe even would have attempted to lynch the sitting Vice President.
