we just kinda of coasted home last few games, playing without Jordyn tonight hurt some. But great win again..20-6 and may be in 2nd place after tonight if TN loses and we hold the head to head over them
Pretty lousy 4th, but just another all-around solid effort overall. I honestly thought this was a 50/50 game and it was hardly competitive. I still half-expect the wheels to fall off but the team just keeps steadily getting better, doing what they need to do. Was really impressive to overcome not having Merritt without missing a beat. Huge game at LSU Sunday. I think they're expecting a sellout for FLORIDA.
I didn't think we were coasting tonight at all. We were great for 3 quarters, but had a bad 4th. That happens sometimes.
Would be great if a well-rested Merritt goes off on LSU. I guess we have a 1-in-4 chance of being #2 seed. If TN actually loses to Bama, maybe a 1-in-3. If we beat LSU, wow, odds-on favorite to be a 2 seed. Hahahahahahaha, insane.
I'd give us a 50% chance at the 2 seed right now. LSU still plays at UT and UT @usc. If those go according to predictions. We just have to win 2 of our last 3.
This was a great victory. Not only the win, but how we won. First one of our best players did not play. But we hit 16 of 18 FTs while Arky went 12 for 20. Both teams had 4 starters in double figures but….our bench outscored their bench 15-3. Not to be hyperbolic but this team does remind me of a great Gator team that nobody expected much of in the 05 season. Especially the way they seem to be enjoying the ride.
