Ten teams go, despite their sputtering the last few games, they ended up in a three way tie for tenth and owned the tie breaker. Happy for the kids, and the first game is winnable.

8 goals in last 2 1/2 games. Good time to start finding the back of the net.

Starting to gel a little, offense is much better. Actually had 11 shots to tie USC. We knew this year would be rough, but nice to see some progress. Would love to see them make a little noise in the tourney.

But the next big step for the program will be signing day. VERY curious to see how that shakes out.

Gators tie it up vs Vandy 1-1 with 1:30 left in regulation. I'm not much of a soccer guy, but pace seems slow even for college soccer. Heading for 2nd o/t.
Give the Gators credit tho for not giving up.

Gators perfect on penalty kicks, get the win. Most exciting part of match.

Something to hang their hat on going into next year, great fight and held their nerve in PKs.
Happy again for them to have something positive happen after a dismal year.
    Two streaks saved this week:
UF is the only school to make every SEC tournament,
Vandy has never beaten UF at SECs.

Came here just because I have been curious how the new coach is doing. Seems the product has improved as the year has come along. Curious where we stand in terms of recruiting? I know absolutely nothing about Soccer recruiting.

I've always enjoyed watching women's soccer. Went to many games my senior year when we one the natty. What happened to the program? Haven't followed in awhile. Just bad head coaching?

I been meaning to post here, 2 of my friends have recently had daughters commit to the team for 2023.

Lena Bailey was a surprise to me because well she is very very good at 3 sports and I was almost assuming she would run track but she is going to make soccer her sport in college. She is going to bring elite elite speed to the team which after watching us play TN today looks like we need. Been told she plays forward but I will b honest I am not too familiar with soccer I just go to games and enjoy watching the girls and cheer the team on. Have known her mother for years and years and like I said I just was assuming she would end up running track. She is a long athlete too, I dont see too many of those when I watch womens soccer.

The next girl is a top girl in the Charlotte NC area, Carly Montgomery and she plays with a fantastic high school and club team and I know she was getting letters from UNC, FSU and other top programs but she really likes the vision the coach at UF has and committed 6 months earlier then her family had planned on her doing. Dont quote me but she may reclassify, she does to Ardrey Kell in Charlotte and is a top student also.

We went from a perennial soccer power to the last 4 years of mediocrity.
We are the 3rd worse team in the league right now and their is absolutely no reason with the talent in the southeast, that this team isn't consistently playing for an sec title every year.

Becky needed to bring in a young staff member to recruit like crazy. I'm not sold on the current staff either -- but even Georgia has passed us now. Next season will be a big time year, and we need to see some improvement, and at least get back to 500 in the league.
