Super interesting kid. Easy to assume he is a "project" being an international prospect no one knew anything about. But sounds like he was really committed to Aussie football before outgrowing it, played at a pretty high level of Australian club hoops, and is pretty physical and athletic. Doesn't appear unskilled to me, either, even if he isn't a shooter.
Yeah, he'll probably be a bit of project. Most guys that start late in organized basketball are. On the other hand, some are quick learners and once they get good coaching they improve in a hurry.
