GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida women's basketball is set to open up a three-game homestand on Wednesday when they welcome Atlantic-10 preseason favorites, Dayton, to Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Tip is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET and is the first game of a double-header, with Florida men's basketball taking on North Florida at 7 p.m. ET. Kyle Crooks and Brittany Davis will be on the call on SEC Network+, as well as 98.1FM/850AM WRUF.
Parking restrictions will be lifted on the second and third floor of the O'Connell Center parking garage for the doubleheader, but fans must have a men's ticket in order to attend the men's game at 7 p.m.
Wednesday will mark the third meeting between the Gators and Flyers, with UF holding a 2-0 series lead. Florida captured the victory in their most recent meeting, taking down Dayton 83-69 on March 23, 2014 in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

During their last outing, the Orange & Blue captured an important win over Texas Christian in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, helping the SEC to capture the challenge title, 6-4. The Gators defeated the Horned Frogs, 63-54, behind a season-best 22 points from Lavender Briggs and 12 points and 11 rebounds from Kiara Smith. As a team, UF forced 23 turnovers, leading to a 16-2 fast break advantage.
With her 22 points, Briggs moved to 920 career points, just 80 away from becoming the 27th-member of the 1,000-point club at Florida.

Sunday's game saw the Gators overcome a 2-of-18 (11.1%) three-point shooting performance against TCU to earn the victory. It was the worst three-point shooting night in a win since Feb. 28, 2016 when they also ended 2-of-18 while defeating Auburn, 56-49.
