Yeah I was just having a little fun with it. I’m certainly running vessels a lot smaller than anything the Navy has — and the most treacherous seas I’ve experienced have been overtaking me from the stern. Racing down the face of one wave to keep from going sideways, then powering up the back side of the next wave — on the throttles, off the throttles, on the throttles……it’s a workout.
It’s happened in fair winds and sunny skies too — tides rushing through jetties for example.
