If, he gets next year, which I don’t know because we Gator fans are not on the need to know from this athletic department, I don’t think Strickland can hide from two straight NCAA misses. I hope he is getting good info on good, experienced coaches, can coach changes from the sidelines and manage referees. A Coach who knows how to recruit in this ever changing field of college basketball, someone who uses the NIL, the transfer portal, knows AAU connections and recruits from the top recruiting high schools academies and can recruit talent from high schools, this from someone other than Jeremy. Good coaches in the SEC are doing very good work, we if united, with input could help. But I feel just being a longtime Gator fan doesn’t even get a response to these shortcomings. We are closer to Vanderbilt than Kentucky, and the people in charge don’t want to shake to the football program. They are comfortable with their salaries and benefits, kinda like “Who cares”.......... Who cares that Auburn or LSU were blatant recruiting and caught, but are going to get probation? Who cares that Florida’s NIL laws are restricting our program? I am sure Kentucky will use the NIL as ruse to buy more players which all pundits will exclaim that Calipari is the greatest recruiter. Who cares since the SEC commissioner is fine with his control, salary and benefits. kinda like the NCAA!
