The thin Finn, as Mick Hubert called one foreign player. Maybe this kid needs to go on Wheel of Fortune and buy some vowels. I’m happy to have him - who knows how he’ll turn out.
my understanding was that it was passed off over the years. So given that no one from that group is left (other than Duke Werner and some other support staff), it’s interesting to think about who had the idea to bring it back and who is.
Yeah- the original Sayre was a hoax, imo. I think I know who it is this time… and I think the screen name is mostly a joke
The identity of coachsayre has had much speculation but never verified. That tradition will carry on. I will only say that coachsayre had credible insight into the inner circle and that will continue as well. So enjoy the info that is relayed when it is safe to share with Gator fans. I gave some strong hints that another big addition was likely happening but there were still issues that needed resolved before it was a sure thing.
I was really bummed about coach pursuing other impact bigs and losing freshman Jalen Reed... 6-10 great handles, good three, little light under the hoop. I say ... Bring on Blitz·krieg!!!! We got to remember he is just a FRESHMAN!!! 6-11 240 Large and in charge! Good mobility to the basket, Physical around the hoop, and knocks down the 3s! Bring on the Blitz·krieg!!!
I expect this year he will be more like Aleksander the Bi-stander but if he develops we could call him Herman the German.
I postulated about Haugh in another thread that the only reason he decided to stay in HS rather than sit and learn at the D1 college level was because Golden told him there wasn't a space for him this year. He had to wait until next year. Mr. Consonants' signing tells me I was absolutely correct.
I had some epic clashes with the original CS. He revealed his supposed identity to me, but I was more than skeptical. His info was hit or miss, but he had some decent contacts. Somehow he gained traction as being directly affiliated with the program, and let the rumor run, even if total bs. I think I will like this new version better. I expect some hilarious posts.
My goal will be to provide occasional insight to fans when appropriate. If that seems hilarious to you that is a bit of an odd reaction but I take no offense as I want to enhance the experience of Gator basketball with fans. Hope everyone enjoys the changes moving forward with Gator basketball! Go Gators!
