Tough loss, but good game - clearly these 2 teams are evenly matched. Good practice for postseason, could be quite similar to an NCAA round 2 on the road. Need to practice shooting FTs in a hostile environment and clean up our rebounding. Hopefully Kiki is okay.
Even with the loss, I am super Gator Proud of these Ladies today. Our turnaround has been miraculous. Go Gators!

That is as physical as a womans game as I have seen. Our FT shooting really let us down today, but I just dont like seeing basketball played like that. I knew it was going to be like that from Mulkeys comments from after the first game. She said we were tougher, officials let the emotion of the crowd effect how the game was played, that she was soft on her team and the officials. Today she was yelling, stomping and screaming from the opening tip. She worked those refs hard. But she didnt cause Rimdel to miss a gimmer layup, that didnt cause Smith from shooting 3-9 at the FT line. I was just shocked Rickards never made it to the FT line today as much as she was hacked . But like East said they were just better inside then us and it showed. The twins are too young and Faith and Floor just dont have enough
Hate to lose to anybody LSU more than others, our kids didn't play up to their own standard from buzzer to buzzer and were still in it playing in font of a packed house. I think KRF will find plenty of coaching points and the team will want to be ready the next time we face LSU (and the drama queen coach) just compare the demeanor on the court and interactions with her team between Kelly and Mulkey I think Zippy is back next season and that she and Nina both play point
I don't think the LSU big girl gets away with those late fouls on the road. I would have liked to wipe the smirk off her face a few times.
LSU outfought us for loose balls and rebounds all day. That was the difference, although we still could have won if we'd hit free throws at a better clip. Good game, nonetheless.
Dang, that lsu coach was awful animated. We will see these animated tiggers again in the SEC finals. I really like out chances then.
It would be us in most scenarios, but there are literally still scenarios where it could come down to drawing lots. We do control our own destiny to finish at least #3 which is more important IMO. Should have a better picture after Thursday's games...
What a great effort in an amazing atmosphere. Kudos to LSU for filling their arena. Bummer on the free throws, but both teams fought hard. Very exciting game.
