It was a great weekend on the road for our men's tennis team. After beating Georgia in Athens Friday afternoon, the team went on to beat number one ranked Tennessee in Knoxville on Sunday. Our schedule is heavily front loaded with the tough teams in this year's SEC regular season. At 4-0 presently it will be tough to deny the Gators their third consecutive SEC regular season title. The team was 12-0 in 2019, no title in 2000, due to Covid, 12-0 in 2021, and well on their way to another outstanding season this year. Coach Shelton has this program at the top of American's toughest tennis conference the SEC!

Coach, any idea why Monday sat out the weekend for the Vols? Obviously UF has gotten a big boost in the USC and UT matches by them missing guys.
Saw the Vols lost the USC match when Diaz got overruled for the 4th time and lost the deciding match. Not sure I have ever seen that happen in the decider.

Monday had a cast/boot on his leg when we played Tenn on Sunday. No idea how serious or for how long he may be sidelined

Only time I recall losing a match to over rule was Greg Ouellette having a fourth over rule called on him at Ole Miss. it was bogus as well.
