Yeah, that guy was as crooked as they come.

 

No. It was in the last minute, though.

 

I was there. It was before we had ever accomplished anything. It was unbelievable at the time.

 

I was sick with the flu that day and missed that one in person. I have season tickets. Did see it on TV, though.

 

Pretty sure it was beating TCU in 1986. Don't think the game was televised so not much hope of a youtube of the shot.

 

I was sitting directly on the row level with the hoop behind the Gator bench. I might have been the first person to know it was going in. Sent us to MSG for the NIT Final Four. First time we had done anything in a national tournament.

 

I was in attendance for 3(b), 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9!

lee’s game winner was so fun! We trailed by double digits in that game, and nearly won in regulation on a would-be buzzer beater from Peep… but didn’t get it off in time.
Lee’s shot was from the left baseline, with the game tied in OT.
After the game, my buddies and I came charging into our hotel, very loudly celebrating… not even knowing the team was down there. When we came in- they were all laughing and began celebrating with us. Lee had a huge smile. It was really fun.

 

Erv hit a buzzer beater from nearly half court… to send us to overtime versus uga. We won.

 

9. 2019 SECt … Florida rallied back from double digit deficit… and beat LSU on a a last second Nembhard 3.

 

I left the office to go to lunch at Miller's Ale House and made it a super-long lunch while I watched that game. Well worth it! We got screwed the next day, though, when Nembhard again had the ball, last possession, and got mugged at least twice on his shot, hacked across both arms... incredibly, no call on one of the most obvious fouls I've ever seen, with the game on the line. I think we were playing Awbrin. Even Calipari, commenting later about the SECT in general, pointed out that glaring no-call, miming the hack.

 

He was also fouled by Parsons on the shot he made. Surprised that wasn't called.

 

Sorry, that doesn't fit my orange-and-blue narrative, so I can't use it.

 

I was at the Appleby game winning shot against Ohio State. Was very excited that we were playing in Fort Myers, my home town. Especially against OSU, I was born in Ohio and my dad went to OSU undergrad and med school. Took all three of my kids and had a great time.

I've watched that Mike Miller shot hundreds of times over the past 25 years. I can probably recreate everyone's steps haha.

I also remember two years later that Creighton beat us on a buzzer beater 3pt in the first round too. I think that game gave me the flu.
