they lean left, which reflects the views of the majority of the us population, left center. Fox 'News" is hard right.

I like BBC, Forbes, The Hill, WSJ, Reuters for sources. If we could agree on sources for information, it owuld make it much easier to discuss issues and wha tis a reality and what is a fabrication of a fictional generator that parades as news soiurces

Hmmm... it almost seems like they are running a business trying to get money off of advertisers and higher ratings achieves that goal. The rest is window dressing. Shocked I tell ya.

Just for fun, A couple of classics: Fox ripping Obama for letting Ebola ravage our country while dismissing Covid as an exaggerated ploy to hurt Trump.
    Death totals in US:
Ebola - 2 (neither contracted in US)
    Covid - 1,188,991

Or praising Trump for talking to dictators while kinda having the opposite view when Obama did it.

If you could shorten your posts to just this - that would be great…

    Thanks in advance.

And to top it off, Soros just bought up most of the radio stations in the US. You know what's going to happen next - only liberal advertising will be allowed (meaning all you will hear across the nation on every radio station are going to be anti-conservative campaign ads), all conservative radio broadcasts will be killed off, pretty much end all conservative talk radio during an election year. That's what the liberals do - they are more Sopranos than the Republicans. Republicans are more like the one-legged drunk sailor trying to break dance, it's ugly to watch.

    1. No, he didn't buy most of the radio stations in the US. Not even close.
    2. Do all the so-called liberal media outlets reject all conservative political ads and allow only liberal ones?

Actually Sinclair Broadcasting which skews far right wing has bought up a lot of the local programming market.

He bought up Audacy, the #2 largest radio market in the US. It covers 45 metro cities in 27 states, literally 80% of the major market outside of iHeartRadio, which is #1.

Hi O and B - Well, us Americans (generally speaking) only want to hear our "side".
And yes, I am guilty of that even though I try to be objective.

I would suggest to you that this lack of belief is a tragedy to our nation.
The news, like so so many things, has become all about political partisanship.

    One side against the other.

We have a great nation, built, arguably, the greatest society to ever exist and now we are ripping it apart.
Tit for tat and all that stuff.

Sad times for me, I hate all the bickering, most of which is selfish and counter to the good of the nation.

Clearly I don't "fit in" to this new reality. I always thought the best way to live was by the golden rule.
That will just get you laughed at these days, especially if one is in the media.

He's done it before. You do know he's invested 100s of BILLIONS in doing just this. His fund has ties to over 100 major industries and nearly half of the Fortune 500. Would ending conservative talk radio make money in places like Los Angeles and San Francisco? Maybe, it depends on the market. It remains to be seen what his intentions are because the way they want the deal to close, they want to side skirt all of the regulatory checks and balances. So why?

It's because the Soros groups are in fact, 50% foreign owned. If the FCC were to actually take a look, it's probable the Soros Group can't make the purchase.

iheart has about four times the number of stations that Audacy has. So, no, Soros isn’t buying “most of the radio stations in the US” as you claimed.
Now, can you answer my question about ads?

He's done what before? Buy radio stations?

There's no market for left wing talk radio. Never has been. That's why it doesn't exist now. So if that's Soros grand plan, as you think, good luck.

Yep, radio is dominated by rw talk. Writ large, radio is a dying industry as local stations get gobbled up by corporations. Not holding my breath on radio becoming a bastion of lw talking points.
Radio is dying because there are other options for music and entertainment.
I grew up listening to radio for music and Gator games. I rarely listen to radio any more as I don't want to hear the commercials and the blah blah. Just put on some music and enjoy the ride.
