Most of game yes. I just watched a Vandy receiver go up and grab a long pass in which he was clearly held but got no call. Tech coach should have at least 2 unsportsmanlike. Leeway given to him was very kind by refs. The chippiness you’re talking could also be viewed as coming from the tech Coach not keeping his composure and keeping his kids calm.i agree w you on Punt interference.

The pass interference call on Tech was PI as made no attempt to play ball and made contact w receiver. Maybe judgement call but not awful.

I just feel Vandy has clearly outplayed Tech. Refs were not worth 22 points. Punt interference I agree with you but
Bad calls will always happen but how a team responds is everything.

 

I know, transitive property etc. but...Tech beat FSU and Vandy is taken them to the woodshed. They are out-physicalling them now.

 

SEC 10-11th showing how tough we are as a league beating ACC 4th-5th best. Love this as helps others to see/understand that every week is tough. There are no easy weeks like there are in other conferences.

 

I agree Vandy outplayed GT at the end and I agree bad calls are part of the game. These calls have been so bad that I had to tell my daughter about the Swindle in the Swamp. Bad calls made a huge difference. The punt reception alone was roughly a 40 yard swing and then it gave Vandy a much shorter field to score. Starting on the 40 vs the 2 is huge.

 

How much time was left? And would they just call it at this point?

lol…that first one you mention was a clear facemask. Claiming otherwise is folly. Sorry that you were rooting for tech. No mention of the free 15yrds on GT’s last drive of the half? Or the phantom defensive personal foul on 4th down just before the weather delay? If anything, #3 from GT deserved more penalties.
