GAME THREAD: Vanderbilt vs Georgia Tech Birmingham Bowl ESPN

Most of these bowl games have been close fun games, not like the boring as hell playoff games.

 

When it is a neutral site and the crowd is chanting "Refs you suck" there is a major ref issue.

Tech coach costing his team. Those 15 yards he cost team were huge. Honestly surprised that was his first penalty with the way he’s been screaming at the referees.

Vandy coach awesome with keeping composure!!

 

GT has been screwed by the refs in this game and it has made a big difference. It is easy for the Vandy coach to keep composure when all calls going against GT.

The bad refs is why this game went from a good game to getting out of control (fights and chippy play).

Co-Coordinator and apparently not the play caller.

 

He hasn't missed any meals.

 

Interception, fumble, and great play by Vandy and Pavia. Referees aren’t the reason Tech is down 15 and soon could be down 22. Vandy deserves credit for interception, fumble recovery, and overall good play. Refs didn’t cause turnovers.

bad calls part of game but I’ve not seen any yet. But if there are, coaches still have to keep composure. Tech coach could have 2-3 penalties. I thought refs were giving him a lot of leeway.

Have you watched the entire game? I don't disagree with the football plays by Vandy.

There have been at least 3 bad calls by the refs that were huge. The non-offensive PI call when to offset the facemask, the non call on the punt interference, and the PI call against GT. Those were game changing calls at the time.

 

Great to the SEC guys playing this well. Tech probably 4th-5th best team in ACC. Vandy is our 10th-11th best team by final league standings and they are dominating. Says what we knew about our league- by far toughest in CFB.
