If you want to go that route, one has 8 wins and the other 6. One overachieved 2 years in a row while the other is doing ok. If you compared resources, recruiting areas, budget on assistants and overall staff so you think Beamer should win 2-3 more games than Billy?
There’s no way Billy can’t catch him but that’s my point. Billy has tons of built in advantages over Beamer, Leach and Kiffin. Billy’s floor should be 7/8 wins while That is Beamer’s ceiling. You’d agree right?
Ask Spurrier about the advantages at Florida over SC. Ask him about how he feels about the job Beamer is doing.
