    Technically Mia wasn’t in the running lane. Nothing egregious on her part, close play either way. I’m not furious with the out call but of course I don’t like it.

    Boys across the street have had this issue multiple times this year too. It’s not a new rule, but it’s easy to do coming from the rh box. Really only comes into play if the ball is coming up the line behind you, like a bunt or dropped third strike.

    I’d love to see a safety bag. Take calls like this out of the equation and more importantly avoid injuries.
