    I just got through watching the game. I had hoped Coach Walton would start Brown, but that's hindsight. Baylor came out with a lot of fight and jumped on us early. Ava pitched very well to give us a chance. I won't and can't say that our team showed no fight. What I will say is that Baylor's 2 pitchers have done a great job of mixing up their pitches and locations, having our hitters guessing a lot. That has resulted in us taking a lot of strikes right over the heart of the plate and swinging at pitches out of the zone. Their defense made several superior plays today that kept us from getting things going as well. Today, only Skylar seemed to have things figured out. Falby is struggling for sure, swinging at balls in her eyes and running away from outside pitches on the corners, not even giving herself a chance. Even Otis had a tough time today. Walsh got a hold of one, but struck out twice on change-ups in the dirt. Our timing seems off and maybe, maybe we're trying too hard, putting pressure on ourselves instead of just relaxing and enjoying the game. Just a thought. But I give Baylor a lot of credit. They have had a good approach to attacking our batters and so far their strategy has worked. We MUST make adjustments for tomorrow or the season will be over.
    I would start Rothrock. She's been the horse we rode in on and I'd show confidence in her in being able to get it done. But the offense has to come through. They've carried this team all year and it has to continue on Sunday.

    Sunday's game is a 2 pm on ESPN.

    If they start yesterday's pitcher we just need to sit on her changeup and ignore everything else.
    The crowd was probably the largest of the year.

    The problem is not "loud," the problem is that the music is *constant.*

    Maybe you can add a P.S. to your suggestion to UAA -- I'd like to see several round, four-seat tables with umbrellas on the huge wasted concrete space in front if the trophy case on the 3B side. UF has a bunch of these tables throughout campus -- they are metal, fixed metal seats, and have a metal umbrella. Would make eating before the game with friends more pleasant.

    (now that's two rants in one thread -- did I mention get off my lawn?)

    This attendance is the second-highest ever at KSP.
    The highest is against Tennessee in May 2019-3140
    Now third against FSU in 2017-2547

    Exactly - no excuses, we’ve been to several stadiums this year and KSP has the most lethargic crowds of all. All the other stadiums are full of younger fans that scream louder and longer than the old farts like us that have all the seats at KSP. Until the season ticket holders age out and newer younger people gets tickets, KSP will still be like going to church.

    Our team just needs to relax and play Gator ball. They didn't do that today.
    They had that old Indian problem - 2 tents!

    Actually just read where others experienced the same thing I did with it not be on ESPN like it was supposed to be.

    I believe that she did. One of the Baylor spectacular defensive plays came on one of her short slaps to the outfield. The thing that pisses me off is that the Baylor defense has Falby’s game defensed well. On the other hand, we allowed one light hitting Baylor hitter to beat out not one, but two drag bunts. The second one led to an insurance run late in game. Which ever of our coaches is responsible for setting our defense needs to get off his ass and do his job.

    Gators need to make the cheap seats, like the berm and plaza, even cheaper. Current price $10, reduce to $5. Which will make it much more affordable for a family of four $20 versus $40.

    Bunt defense has not been very good all season long. Defintley not the norm. AK is very good at 3rd but maybe something to do with her being pretty inexperienced there?
