(SB) Game Thread: Florida vs. South Alabama - Sat. 5/18 @ 1 pm - ESPN+

Still waiting to see whether the game will be on ESPN+, SECN, ESPNU, ESPN2 or ESPN.
South Carolina/Duke plays at 11 am, with other 1 pm games being Virginia/Tennessee, Liberty/Georgia and Southern Illinois/LSU. As soon as anyone sees what network we'll be on, please let everyone know.
The Gators will need another solid pitching performance Saturday because South Alabama has one of the better pitchers in the country in Olivia Lackey. She shut out FAU 1-0 today. She is 24-8 on the season, 1.38 ERA, having thrown 233.2 innings with 222 K's. The Jaguars only hit .249 as a team with only 29 home runs, but they have beaten 4 SEC teams this year and won't be intimidated by the Gators.

 

From everything I can see, the Gator game is only going to be on ESPN+. The WatchESPN app is showing South Carolina & Duke at 11 am on ESPN2. Florida State & UCF at 1 pm on ESPN2. Kentucky & Oklahoma State at 1 pm on ESPN. No softball on ESPNU, ESPN News, SECN or SEC+ at 1 pm. A bunch of games on ESPN+. SUCKS!!!!
This is a HUGE game. The winner goes to Sunday and only has to win 1 more game. The loser has to play the winner of FGCU/FAU on Saturday night, win that game and then win 2 on Sunday.
