Ohio State is in for certain. The Bama-TCU decision could go either way. The world awaits.

Why should OSU jump them? Lost by almost 30 at home then they should get rewarded for sitting at home because they aren't good enough to make their championship game? TCU still has a better record too.

Well, let’s characterize it differently then: TCU should fall back. They lost, and you just don’t get to stay in your ranking after you’ve lost. Maybe anOSU should have fallen back further than they did after getting gut punched by Meatchicken, but they didn’t. Whether or not TCU should fall back is not really a question. Of course, they should. The question is should they fall back one spot or two. I would vote two, but no one would care.

I say TCU still in, they’ll get to try to cover the spread v. UGA. They lost by three inches in their championship game.

That other spot is a mess. OSU and USC just got absolutely throttled in their last games, OSU couldn’t even get to their championship game. And the team that skull drug them is def in. This isn’t the Bama/LSU year where a rematch was an awesome thought. Bama with two one-play losses but also not even a CG participant.

IMO Bama would actually be the best choice for the playoff, we haven’t seen them get destroyed by UM or UGA yet. They have the 33rd best NFL roster and could pull it off against anyone.

I understand all the belly-aching but other than pure anythingcanhappen I have zero desire to see OSU/UM again, there was nothing cool as an outsider the first time. It was definitive. See if Bama can do better (and it’s a virtual certainty they can.)

Based on this logic Ohio St would be the number 1 seed had Georgia and Michigan also lost yesterday.

True enough, possibly. And wouldn’t that have presented a weird scenario: The playoffs without a single conference champion. Ostensibly, the top four teams in the country, none of whom were even the top teams in their own conference. Broken system that this outcome is even possible.

If they just have to have TCU in, then fine. I’d prefer Meatchicken gets the pass game, and Georgia has to go up against a team nearly as big, fast, strong, and deep as they are.

Georgia will maul them up front, same as Michigan did. I doubt either semifinal will be that close.

I still dont understand how they spotted that ball just inside the 1 when it was clear it should have been at the 1" line.

Perhaps. I like the Buckeyes chances way better than TCU, though.

Feel bad for Duggan and TCU.

Duggan's post game breakdown reminded me of Tebow after Ole Miss.

Can't believe the young man had a 9 hour long heart surgery and started playing not long after.

If we're being logical, could Alabama win the title if they were in the playoff? I think so.

    I'm glad they're not, though.
