Don't think he's a bad coach, just think 63-3 got in their heads and this is the result of realizing we're not close to championship level yet. Makes me smile when I thnk how they were bellyaching about being "snubbed" from the 4 team playoff. Can't honestly say I feel bad for them. Hehehehe
What a game. DJ went 12/30 for 222, 2 TD, 3 picks. QBR of...13.2. Backup goes in and get this: 0/4, QBR of 2.4. The future is bright in Clowntown.
Only place on earth capable of hosting that stench of a game is Tallahassee....oddly enough it may make the town smell better.
Oh...here comes the Covid 24 excuse...they pulled it one time and will try it again. Clemson better hope their third string long snapper doesn't have a runny nose or Norvell will cancel to avoid another loss. I would imagine one of you kind souls can send Danny K"anal" a six pack of ball point pens and a reel of paper so he can continue his list he was taking names on....it must be getting really long.
The Suck Bowl, sponsored by Roto-Rooter. Seriously, this will be the bowl game for both teams. Must watch TV even though "It Just Means Less...."
Not to mention all the guys redshirting themselves so that they can transfer out and not lose a year after a bad start. Kids don’t have any resilience when times get tough anymore. It used to be “In all kinds of weather” now it’s “In MY kinda weather”
@Bazza already did 8 "other games" threads this week alone. All others, except maybe Illinois vs Penn State, were somewhat related to Florida. We can't do every other SEC game, nor especially every other game, and can't be doing every Hole game or scUM game in case either loses. If some other game of interest, like this one, pops-up . . . you guys just start a thread just like you did. Bazza's list isn't meant to be exclusive. Maybe title it . . . HOLE UPSET ALERT or scUM UPSET ALERT or anything else eye-catching.
I chose not to start a game thread because, in addition to ET's remarks above, there was really no interest in this game at all until it was apparent SMU was in position to win the game. Additionally - it was televised on the ACC Network, so may not have been "available" to some here. Sure....always good to see our rivals lose a game. A little hard for me personally, to get as much satisfaction from that though, given the current state our program is in. So there's that too, I guess. Anyway......
Yep, it's already started. Before you know it, entire starting units will sign in blocks like the NBA and control each school's financial well-being.
Peter Principle raises its ugly head again. Norvell could have stayed at Memphis forever and done well, just like Mullen could still be coaching at MSU. And, no, I will never feel bad for fsu either.
