We’re gonna start seeing these monstrous year to year collapses A LOT. Mark my words- when we have 2-3 years of data- articles will be written and shifts will start to happen with NIL and the portal. Teams are gonna quit, players are gonna opt out both officially and behind closed doors. If you sign with a team and they are suddenly out of contention or team doesn’t gel or coach runs a scheme you don’t like or you aren’t getting the ball- they’re just gonna lay down with the argument being “this is killing my money and future with the nfl”. That’s what we are seeing at FSU and I hope we don’t see it here but when guys like LJ Mcray were brought in under the guise of “help us rebuild something special” and you’re 4th string on a 2-2 team that got blown out twice and missed 23 tackles in your win…. How can you be happy or feel like “imma give it my all”
