The question is, did he pay that money back before the end of the year if he indeed borrow that campaign money? Didn't the Clintons and tons of other politicians do this and NOT pay it back, only to get a slap on the wrist? Or course this is in no way saying that I think this kangaroo court charge is even slightly legit.

You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Mueller investigated Russian interference with the 2016 election. Mueller was appointed special counsel and he cited in his report specific instances of Trump's obstruction of that investigation. It was obstruction of justice and not Congress.

10 times Trump may have obstructed justice, according to Mueller

"Run with the Big Boys?" Run away from the clueless. You have confused Trump's obstruction of the Mueller probe with his obstruction of Congress during his impeachment hearings.

Running with the @AgingGator "big boys:"

I agree. "No one is above the law" is an impossible dream. Take Trump, for example. Even if he's tried and convicted, the cultic outrage over such victimization, which could even catapult him to the presidency, in effect lifts him above the law. They're already calling his indictment, when it's rendered, a gift. Only in today's mentally ill America.

Again, the jury had the charges of child abuse and manslaughter before them, and they acquitted on both. What “lesser charge” did they need if they failed to convict on child abuse?

I think the only thing that happened there is those jurors got hung up on reasonable doubt. It was a circumstantial case. There was another theory presented. Most people would find it an unreasonable explanation. The jurors, instead, took the bait and failed to convict. Some jurors have come out years later and flatly said it was the wrong decision.

There is always a risk that happens in a jury system. That’s why people pay $$$ to have better lawyers (even though I remember Anthony’s lawyer seeming sleazy and unprofessional, one of the jurors specifically said they found the prosecution “arrogant” and “snobbish”, and they were influenced by that). Trump will be a white collar case so it could happen here, white collar cases are notoriously hard to convict. But Manhattan has already put Trump associates behind bars for basically these same cases. So ultimately Trumps best hope would probably be that he gets a cultist on the jury.

We are assured that, to the cult, the Trump Univ, Trump Org., Trump charity guilty charges were all also from kangaroo courts. LOL How many times can the cult be 100% proven wrong, yet still claim victimhood?
Must be a cult thing? LOL

How did the "wacko leftist" (whoever that is) give us Donald Trump? That seems to make about as much sense as a man giving birth to a baby. Now it can be argued that Hillary Clinton gave us Donald Trump. Is she a wacko leftist? IMO she's nothing but a gangster's moll.

It’s a little incongruent that posters can say this about a good man in the news (reminiscent of Churchill) but we can’t say the same about them.

Images of snow angels dance in my head.

jan 6th attack on our US Capital was all maga. They beat LEO men and women and threatened to kill our government leaders all in the name of their Dear Leader.

hopefully 2022 midterm results was a indication our country is finally over maga and their nutty conspiracies.

I said he was IMPEACHED for obstruction of congress, AND cited a reference. Your hatred of the man long ago impaired your sense of reason and now it seems to have impaired your ability to read.

The Mueller Report spewed all kinds of Weismann garbage, but left NOTHING actionable for the democrats to base an impeachment on. I mean, let’s be honest the whole reason for the Mueller investigation was for an impeachment.

Well, Baez was damn sure sleazy. Word was that Anthony’s lawyer was hitting it before and after the trial.

Just as our LEO stood up to maga’s violence on Jan 6, our country can’t be intimidated by trump encouraging violence.
