Fox News poll finds Biden ahead of Trump by two points by Nick Robertson -

06/19/24 10:10 PM ET President Biden leads former President Trump by two points in a national poll of the presidential election published by Fox News on Wednesday, taking a lead for the first time since last October.

A bare majority, 50 percent, of respondents said they would vote for Biden in November, while 48 percent said they would back Trump. It’s a three-point improvement for Biden over last month’s Fox News poll, where Trump led by one point.

Wednesday’s poll marks the first time Biden has cracked 50 percent support this election cycle, and the first time he has led Trump in a Fox poll since October 2023.

I was looking for Oke's thread on this but I couldn't find it. Perhaps because it doesn't show Trump in the lead. I expect these polls to move back and forth through November

The polls from Fox are manipulated by the sleaze ball Daron Shaw. They also have a poll that puts "The Future of Democracy" as the #1 concern of Fox viewers. That's not true either.

Did you pull that from your bag of excuses for everytime a poll show that Biden is in the lead?

Apparently you are unaware that although the poll was commissioned by Fox it was not a poll of Fox viewers, it was a poll of all registered voters. I would agree that the "Future of Democracy" is not the number one concern of Fox viewers. If it was they probably wouldn't be Fox viewers.

I would also add that another poster started a thread by claiming that Trump improved by four percentage points as a result of his guilty verdict in NY hush money case by comparing a Reuters poll taken after the verdict showing Trump ahead by a plus two percentage point margin compared with the poll from the same source taken before the verdict indicating Biden with a plus two lead. If that was the case using the Fox poll Biden improved by three percent going from a minus one prior to the verdict to a plus two after verdict. I would also note that the Fox News poll was taken later than Reuters poll and used a larger sample although the reality is that all four polls were within the margin of error meaning that Biden and Trump were virtually tied in all of those polls.

The only one that matters is November and it can obviously go either way. Another razor thin electoral college margin, even if the margin of actual votes is in the millions.

In the 5 way, it's Biden +1%, not that national polls matter. State polls are where the action is.

I don't put tons of faith in polls. We have an electoral college that ignores that.

    You're back!!!!

Hey, you forgot to comment on the evidence I presented you from the REPUBLICAN Senate Intelligence Committee that found that your political leader accepted help in the 2016 election from Russia.

Did you want to comment on that while you're here?

You're still shilling for a guy who accepted election help from Russia. Does that make you feel patriotic?

This should be very troubling to democrats, with their opinion of Fox's accuracy and all. ;)

Fox’s polling is actually pretty decent. 538 gives them a 2.8 out of 3.

that said, this whole back and forth over individual polls 5 months before the election is dumb.

There's only one poster on the board who cares about polls. I was just helping him out as it appears he forgot one

Why? If Fox says Biden is up only two, then he’s probably up 10 :ninja3:

This poll is from registered voters...not likely voters.
Blacks and Gen Z are still running from Biden in droves.

I’ve done a thorough review of their methodology and have found this one poll of theirs is accurate.
