I understand. I’m biased too, and Clayton’s inbounds pass with 23 seconds to go against Vandy is one of the worst plays I have ever seen made by a Gator basketball player. Throw the damn inbounds pass to Pullin, and we likely win the game, but, instead, Clayton throws a half-ass pass to a covered Kugel, and we lose. I could see Tyrese Samuel on the 1st team. That guy was a warrior this season who poured his heart and soul into every game. And, as for Zyon Pullin, what a pleasure to watch that guy play. What a magnificent player.
Sigh..had to remind me of that trash play by WC. Arrgghhĥhh...soooo mad at that. Dude should have just took the last time out and TG should have put someone taller to inbound the ball with. Like you said just get it to Pullin and we win. WC had some bad end of the game type of plays. He really has to work on his handles and decision making this off season. He can score with the best, now it is time to take his game to the next levek.
I know OT, but Clayton also had a horrific inbound pass vs UGA or LSU which could have cost us the game. (It didn't, but that didn't make the pass any better.) Same thing as Vandy- except he threw it over halfcourt. Meanwhile Condon was standing wide open at half court. Clayton doesn't need to touch the ball in this situation any longer... Hope TG knows that, but apparently he forgot about the LSU or GA end of game play.
Could you please explain to everyone the distinction between the term “one of the worst plays” and the term “worst play”? Thanks in advance for your answer.
ZP also was open. The purpose of not having ZP as the inbound passer was so that he could receive the pass. I don’t know what Clayton was thinking.
This team has that vibe about them, doesn't it? Even got a guy named Richard balling out for us just like back in the '04s days! Fun to watch! We seem to rise up to the level of our opponents, unfortunately sometimes play down to lesser opponents too at times. Just hoping that in the dance they'll play every game pedal to the metal from buzzer to buzzer!
